2110 seemed to bring out the sweet rides and projects If you look at the photo album you can see some of the cars I'm going to describe here...
We had the opportunity to work on a brand new 2010 Focus. The owner had a ton of equipment that we had installed years ago that he wanted transferred to his new car. There were 4 Alpine amplifiers, Audio Control 1/3 octave equalizers, Audio Control Bass restoration and electronic crossovers, JL Audio subs, MB Quart component speakers and mid-bass drivers and a high-end Alpine AM/FM/CD head unit. The amplifiers were installed on a custom rack behind the front seat. The Audio Control components were mounted in a custom-built, orange LED lighted rack in the trunk, with the JL Audio subs in removeable boxes so the customer could access his spare tire, if needed. A sweet soounding system!
The 1967 GTO seen in these pictures got a Pioneer CD player mounted in the glovebox so that the (non-functioning) factory radio would remain in the dash and retain a totally stock appearance. Two 3 1/2 coaxial speakers were mounted in the dash in the factory 4x10 location and 6x9 Pioneer 3-way speakers were mounted under a custom upholstered rear deck.
The hottest ride of the 2110 was this stunning 1964 Nova, just completed and ready to run! Very slick car with a hot small block, custom frame and suspension and, of course, a custom stereo installation by us! A Pioneer CD with iPod controls, 6x9s in the rear and two 4" coaxials were installed in the front dash. A hidden AM/FM antenna rounded out the system. This car will be a show winner.
The 1964 Dodge Polara was a 50,000 mile survivor that the owner wanted to keep totally stock. He had a Chrsler AM/Fm radio modified with all new electronics, including an iPod input and had us install it with front and rear 4x6 coaxial speakers. A very nice older ride.
Those are the highlights of this Year
